As a digital marketer, you might have a hard time to make your marketing campaign distinguishable from the other repetitive and unimaginative content— in the society that information overflow can become a problem, it is essential to leverage tools that allow campaigns to stand out from the “noisy” background. As an undergraduate in the Northwestern Medill IMC program with an interest in digital marketing, I have found two articles on festivals you will find helpful.
The Guardian's article Personalised marketing at scale is the next big thing in digital reveals that reaching segmented consumers with different creative messages can engage the mass to the largest extent. Jerry Daykin holds the opinion that when mobile marketing becomes a trend, people are extremely sensitive to the information that they receive on their mobile phones-- on one hand, they are much more likely to click through a relevant message that fit their preferences, yet a spamming message could easily cause aversion. Tailoring the content is the essential step for mobile marketing to be successful and original.

In the article, "Is online video the saviour of fragmented digital marketing?", published also in The Guardian, Jerry Daykin concluded that video is the great unifier for fragmented digital marketing, as it poses an impact on the viewers regardless of its length, and it is also "a simple, well understood format that can spread itself across most major digital media channels".
Based on these two articles and my industry studies as an undergraduate student in the Northwestern Medill IMC program, here are three actions I would recommend to digital marketers that seek to have their marketing campaigns stand out:
Go Mobile- As mobile phones create the unparalleled sense of intimacy and also enable direct conversations between the marketers and targeted consumers.
Tailor Contents- Relevancy is what makes the contents stand out, as if the advertisement satisfy the need or the preference of the consumers, the click-through rate could increase significantly!
Use Videos- Delivering steady ROI while engaging the audience to the fullest extent: even a three-second video can make a lasting impact!
As the online marketing tactics offer a variety of choices like audio, text, pictures, and videos, it is
essential for digital marketers to choose the proper method in order to capitalize the dollars spent on the
campaigns. Try engaging with the consumers in these three new ways, and you’ll find the result effective!
As a junior at Northwestern university, I pursue the certificate on integrated marketing communication. My experience with marketing includes holding the position as the marketing intern for the Conde Nast publication, managing a personal Microblog of 1k followers for Jiang·China, and developed marketing campaign for 5/3 bank in the boot camp sponsored by Leo Burnett.

Great insights on unique strategies for digital marketing campaigns. I think adding the right tools can also make a difference, and using the cheapest smm panel is a smart way to boost engagement while keeping costs low.
